Khaiyyaam: Nakhuda (1980)

Nakhuda

A quicky: 'Nakhuda' is a collection of pleasant, traditional sounding songs... pretty, but bland. Everything on here's a bit humdrum, forgettable... not for me at all, but there you go. I probably just don't like Khaiyyaam much.

The sleeve's alright though.

Track listing:
1. Mahendra Kapoor & chorus: Sahara Hai Nakhuda
2. Lata Mangeshkar & Nitin Mukesh: Haem Tumse Mohabbat Hai
3. Mahendra Kapoor, Jagjit Kaur, Pamela Chopra & S.K. Mahaan: Aaja Aaja Yaar Habibi
4. Lata Mangeshkar & Nitin Mukesh: Tumhari Palkon Ki Chilmanon Main
5. Asha Bhosle & Mahendra Kapoor: Tujhe Maroongi Phoolon Ki Maar Sajnu
6. Nusrat Ali & Mujhahad Ali: Huq Ali Ali

  5. Another fabulous quality share from an almost impossible to find soundtrack. A million thanks for this one and the others. I enjoyed it immensely. So wonderful to see you inpsiring others.

About this one: I think again it's about the lyrics and the traditional music, vintage Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, any soundtrack with a qawwali and a mujra are gold in my book.
