I like 'Joshila'. Again, this is one where I was told not to expect much, it's a minor work etc... but for crying out loud, listen to 'Sona Roopa Layo Re' and tell me this isn't prime cut R.D. Burman. Crazy moogs, Asha, a groovy beat... it's ace. So is 'Kaanp Rahi Main', starting off with a scream (usually a good sign), nice and jazzy, shuffling along, sometimes cool, sometimes manic... nothing minor at all. 'Jo Baat Isharon Main' is Lata Mangeshkar at her loveliest, 'Kuchh Bhi Kar Lo' is plain good poppy fun (with the silliest of visuals), 'Dil Main Jo Naatain Hain' has an awesome intro... need I go on? You know you want this.
Track listing:
1. Kishore Kumar: Kiska Rasta Dekhay
2. Asha Bhosle: Sharma Na Yoon
3. Kishore Kumar & Lata Mangeshkar: Kuchh Bhi Kar Lo
4. Asha Bhosle: Kaanp Rahi Main
5. Kishore Kumar & Asha Bhosle: Dil Main Jo Naatain Hain
6. Lata Mangeshkar: Jo Baat Isharon Main
7. Asha Bhosle & Chorus: Sona Roopa Layo Re
8. Lata Mangeshkar: Mehfil Main Chhupane Pade
