I have a big box full of Bollywood soundtracks on LP, about 150 I think. Some are classic, some have one or two good songs on them, and some are duds. For a variety of reasons I've lost track of which are worthwhile and which can be chucked out (ie. sold). So, as much for my own sake as anyone else's, I'm going to digitalize and upload them here, on a semi-regular basis. And keep going until I've done the whole box, or otherwise been asked or told to stop by convincing parties. Such an eventuality notwithstanding, enjoy, start dancing, go mad, whatever. Comments are nice if you'd like to leave one.

  3. What a great find, I'm gonna bookmark you :)

Looking forward to getting some of these, even though I have no idea what they are about (not being Indian) I have always loved the cool music used in the films but have never known where to start a collection......now I know.

    Thanks a lot

  5. Oh man, this is christmas! Thanks for your efforts. Very appreciated. ...and yes, the good bollywood albums are still very expensive on Ebay. Last one I tried to get, climbed to 200+ $ from 30, in the last 10 min of the auction. Helped me decide whether i should place a bid of 50. :) ...but with the aid of your blog, I might be able to identify the ones I should sell organs to afford. Thanks x 10!

  6. swamptracker.....
A freind of mine gave me what he thought were targets for shooting but upon looking at them they turned out to be anything but targets. They are old vinyl records from Third Floor New Jersey City post marked 58.
    Some of the titles are:
Dvorak Symphony No.5 in E minor
    Tchaikovsky No.5 in E minor, Op.64
    Stravinsky, Suite after Pergolesi
Should he do something with these or are just old records?
